Give A Sh#t for Science!

Did you know that 70 million Americans don’t poop well?

They suffer from either constipation, loose stool, or a combination of both. That’s one-quarter of the American population!

The color, shape, size, consistency, and frequency of your “number two” can all speak volumes about your overall health. Yet talking about poop is taboo in our culture, and many people are reluctant to discuss these issues with their doctor. This is where the Seed Citizen Science initiative comes in.

Seed is building the world’s first (and largest) crowdsourced poop image database. It’s called Auggi—an AI learning the difference between healthy and unhealthy poop in order to automate symptom tracking and analysis, and help transform the future of gut health and patient care.

Seed is asking for your help! Will you #GIVEASHIT for science?

Here’s how it works:

  • Step 1: Poop.
  • Step 2: Take a photo (seriously).
  • Step 3: Upload to seed.com/poop (it’s completely anonymous).
  • Step 4: Share the dare and get others to #GIVEASHIT, too.

And no, I’m not kidding! I’m really asking you to take pictures of your poops and donate them to science.

In health,
Dr. Larsh
